“Why did I choose the trevone finance module? I had been watching the once healthy profit from my practice peter away despite all the belt tightening on materials and staff and all the extra hours and work I was putting in. I had all my beautifully penned accounts but didn’t know how to arrange them in a meaningful and useful format. Being a practice owner is a lonely peak in cold, lean times. I needed help. Someone to provide me with an objective, confidential opinion of my business and help me to create a framework to analyse what is going well or badly. Mark organised the steps into easily achievable tasks and helped me take the overall practice costs and break them down into small, time-related costs for running each surgery and an analysis of associate profitability. He discussed several strategies to help me try to reinstate the balance needed. Some of which I already had in place. Some I have started and some I need to steel myself to implement. It’s easy to see what makes perfect business sense but not always easy to change the way your business has been running for years without a heavy heart and stepping on some toes. Mark has offered support and advice through each stage and I will be investing in more of the modules in order to improve the efficiency of my practice. Thanks Mark for your non-judgmental analysis, your gentle cajoling and straight talking advice. I don’t feel so isolated now.”
“The time that I have spent working with Mark has been invaluable. He is easy to talk to and always on the end of the phone for advice. Without working with him I am confident that I would still be drifting along in the same status quo as I was 6 months ago. He has given me the confidence to develop my managing partner role, given invaluable financial advice and helped us to begin to successfully systemise the practice. All of this has allowed us to really drive the practice forward in exactly the direction we want to be heading.”
“Mark’s management checklist provided an excellent template which I could modify for my own practice needs. It was usefully divided into tasks for different team members, as well as by frequency.”
